At last CMM’s SEF extensions are now working like a breeze. Search Engine Friendly URL’s took longer than I expected. This was mainly because of the very scarce information I can find about setting up SEF extensions to work with the Joomla! component called opensef.
It became even more harder when the developers of opensef decided not to continue actively developing the code. It’s sad because opensef was such a good piece of software.

Aside from search engine friendly URL’s, I’ve also included some other parameters to increase flexibility. For example, I can now control the order by which things get displayed like if I wanted to show the map first before the category list.

Another major change has been the incorporation of ads into the component. This would allow the display of ads (e.g. Google Adsense) within the Community Map Manager.
