When I started developing web-based applications, I have used different languages like PHP, Java, Perl and ASP. From all these web scripting languages I have grown a liking to PHP for several reasons. Some of those reasons include: PHP runs in different platforms (Linux, Windows, Sun, Mac …); majority of the Internet hosting services offers PHP for free and pre-installed; and most of all — PHP is very easy to use and has a rich number of built-in functions for developing applications. Website Brewers updated

Having been busy over the past several weeks, I have finally been able to update the website and post some information about development work I have been doing.

The community map manager which is a component I have developed for Joomla! is a software that allows Joomla! users to maintain a community map and directory for a geographical area. It allows for easy input and update of information about streets, buildings and structures for a location. (more…)
