A Google Adsense module for Joomla!

I decided to create a module for displaying Google Adsense in Joomla! enabled websites. My decision came after trying to look for one that supports all the Google Adsense products in just a single module and didn’t find any available.

The module supports all currently available Google adsense products (ad units, link units, search, adsense referrals, adwords referrals, picasa referrals, firefox referrals).

Livebadge Generator

I am starting a software project that I call Livebadge Generator. Livebadge Generator is a software for generating web page summaries. The output can be configured as XML output which follows a defined format.

I have been thinking for quite some time about developing a software that will automatically generate/update some sort of summary for a web page or web site. The output format which should follow a certain standard is to be automatically re-generated when the web page or web site has changed. (more…)

Displaying stock trading information

I have recently finished creating my first module type extension for the Joomla! Content Management System. The module displays daily stock trading information on a Joomla! enabled website.Once installed, stock index summaries can be displayed in a Joomla! page by configuring it in Joomla! Administrator | Modules | Site Modules. The uploaded stock trading data is formatted and displayed inside the configured Joomla! module. The layout and colors used in displaying the stock index summary can be configured using CSS stylesheets. (more…)
